The Village Well is part of a suite of images with a similar theme. This is the original photograph that I took in Oetlingen, Germany. The rest of the suite are digitized to create a series which can be used anywhere that a number of similar images are preferred, e.g. a hotel, office, apartment block, restaurant of as a cover for a series of books.

I absorbed the basics of life and painting from my father, James Cassidy. In the late 1970's I spent five years working in a Graphic Design studio in Dublin City. The influence of that discipline can be seen in some of my paintings. I enjoy experimenting with various painting styles and mediums also photography and lately, digital art. I was honored to win a master class when I submitted my painting, The Burren, back in the 1990's with the renowned contemporary Irish artist Robert Ballagh.
