I came across this vintage fire hose in Johnny Fox's Pub, the highest pub in Ireland. There is a collection of old and antique machinery among the vast amount of memorabilia there.

I absorbed the basics of life and painting from my father, James Cassidy. In the late 1970's I spent five years working in a Graphic Design studio in Dublin City. The influence of that discipline can be seen in some of my paintings. I enjoy experimenting with various painting styles and mediums also photography and lately, digital art.
