I took this photograph in Marktplatz, Basel, Switzerland on a sunny Spring day. People were enjoying outdoor refreshments, as the food and flower market was in full swing. These colorful posters caught my eye and I felt they deserved to be seen!

I absorbed the basics of life and painting from my father, James Cassidy. In the late 1970's I spent five years working in a Graphic Design studio in Dublin City. The influence of that discipline can be seen in some of my paintings. I enjoy experimenting with various painting styles and mediums also photography and lately, digital art. I was honored to win a master class when I submitted my painting, The Burren, back in the 1990's with the renowned contemporary Irish artist Robert Ballagh.
