The Martello Tower as seen from Velvet Strand, Portmarnock, Dublin, Ireland. It marks the beginning of a coastal walkway to Malahide. The summer storm seemed to skirt around us!

I absorbed the basics of life and painting from my father, James Cassidy. In the late 1970's I spent five years working in a Graphic Design studio in Dublin City. The influence of that discipline can be seen in some of my paintings. I enjoy experimenting with various painting styles and mediums also photography and lately, digital art. I was honored to win a master class when I submitted my painting, The Burren, back in the 1990's with the renowned contemporary Irish artist Robert Ballagh.
