Two pairs of red boots spotted at a sale of work. I love colorful boots. I often feel that boots ground me. And the splash of color on my feet, back in the day, was the voice of the rebel in me. I often painted my boots with flowers. Nowadays, it's mainstream and quite normal!

I absorbed the basics of life and painting from my father, James Cassidy. In the late 1970's I spent five years working in a Graphic Design studio in Dublin City. The influence of that discipline can be seen in some of my paintings. I enjoy experimenting with various painting styles and mediums also photography and lately, digital art. I was honored to win a master class when I submitted my painting, The Burren, back in the 1990's with the renowned contemporary Irish artist Robert Ballagh.
